On May 22nd 2017, the event "3 years of PetrOmbudsman” took place in Petrom City, where we celebrated with about 90 employees, both from Bucharest headquarters and from production areas in the country. PetrOmbudsman at the European Ombudsman Meeting in Geneva

Twice a year, Ombudsmen from different corporations and organizations in Europe reunite at a round table meeting, in order to share best practices and experiences. Discussions during this kind of meetings are protected by confidentiality, so that sensitive issues can be debated and the Ombudsman practice can be truly enhanced.

This April, PetrOmbudsman Department launched a company-wide survey to find out your opinion on the services it provides. The survey was available both online and on paper so as to reach all categories of employees. Anonymity and privacy of responses was ensured for each respondent.

PetrOmbudsman at the Labor Law Forum

On September 29th 2016 the third edition of the Labor Law Forum was held at the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – an event organized by the Legal Magazine, where over 100 organizations in the private sector and representatives from the public domain, lawyers, mediators, NGOs and media were invited. The event focused on discussions upon the latest developments in the labor market, addressed from a multilateral perspective (legislative, economic, social and organizational).

Impact Indicators for PetrOmbudsman Department

After researching performance indicators used by fellow ombudsman offices, we have set out to establish the most appropriate indicators for the profile of our organization. Once identified, these were validated with our Advisory Committee. Aside from proving the effectiveness of our work, this also helps to define more clear objectives and supports the organization in understanding in more detail the depth of our activity and the ways in which we can be in synergy with all the formal structures of the company.

Last stop: 26th February, PetrOmbudsman at Petromar

In the last month of the winter season, PetrOmbudsman arrives in Constanta, Asset I, Petromar. After a long and rainy road studded with fog, the PetrOmbudsman caravan made its presence felt, warmed-up the activity, at the same time with the much awaited appearance of the sun. The questions that arised as a result of discussions with the employees, lead as to believe that the launch was expected with interest and curiosity. The experience accumulated from the launches gives us confidence for the future.

Spring in the middle of the winter: Suplac, 28th-29th of January

We have reached the Production Area I Crișana-Banat, area where the PetrOmbudsman department launched his activity. Here we benefit of such a warm and hospitality welcome and also of an exemplary organization and full support of the management. Tour of sectors covered areas located in Suplac and Marghita. We forgot for the moment that we are in the middle of the winter. The questions addressed made us happy and we realized that we will have a very good collaboration.

One last stop in 2014: Pitești, 8-9th of December

Having the same enthusiasm as before, we have chosen to decorate the PetrOmbudsman Caravan in Asset III Muntenia Vest. It is said that this is the most wonderful time of the year and the colleagues from Pitești and from the five production sectors have proven that, for them, this is true! They have welcomed us warmly, joyfully and with real interest; we are glad we had the chance to know them and conclude this year’s launches in a festive way.

A new successful launch: Moineşti 06-07 October 2014

In September, we had our first launch under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mihai Berinde, the new Director of PetrOmbudsman Department. The launch in Asset IV – Videle – 19-21 May 2014

PetrOmbudsman Department was greeted by the Asset employees with a high level of interest and many questions. Our team also offered information and promotional materials in the following sectors: Bălăria Sector 14, Videle Sector 13, Parcul 2 Videle, Parcul 3 Videle, Blejești Sector 11, Talpa Sector 12.
